On December 31st, 2021, Matt and Noël had their first date at a New Years Eve party hosted by their mutual friend, Will. Matt says he knew from the moment he saw Noël that she was the one he was going to marry (and even accidentally said I love you on the first date!).

On their first anniversary, Matt gave Noël a promise ring, symbolizing his deep love and taking their relationship to the next level.

In October 2023, Noël and Matt traveled to Maryland for Noëls cousin Katherines wedding. After the wedding, some sightseeing at the Smithsonian, and without telling anyone he had the engagement ring with him, Matthew got down on one knee in front of most of her extended family and proposed!

We began planning a wedding ceremony and reception in our hometown of West Palm Beach, but the stress of wedding planning made us realize something special. We decided to honor tradition and embrace our original dream by getting married in Vegas, just like Noël’s grandparents did. 💒
